Final Instructions before the Photographer or Videographer shows up:

Write down on a piece of paper everything that is beautiful and/or unique about your property, including cabinet hardware, unique tile, brand new AC, whatever you think sets your property above the others.

Once you have your list completed, start at the driveway or front door of your property and walk through as if you were a potential buyer.  Check your list and make sure you have listed everything that you want to appear in the video.

The following is a check list that you should complete so you will showcase your property in its best light:

• Spruce up your entrance way, remove any clutter.  Remove anything that is old or dingy.
• Spruce up your garden, remove any tall weeds.  If you want to add a layer of fresh mulch to add some color, this would be a good idea, although it is not necessary.  A few colorful potted plants can make your landscaping look crisp and new.
• Vacuum and wash all of your floors.  A shiny floor photographs much better than a dingy floor.  Any windows that you want to showcase, especially if you have a lovely view, make sure you wash the windows. 
• Fluff all of your pillows, including any pillows that are part of your couches.
• Make sure your kitchen counters are spotless.  Remove any clutter.  Make sure your sink is empty and spotless.  Remove any "stuff" from the refrigerator door". 
• Make sure all of your rooms are neat and tidy. 

It might sound like a lot of work, but remember, once you have the video done, you won't have to clean your house for every visitor.  Your visitors will be coming into your home via video presentation and this one cleaning job will be the most important. 

Please have consideration for the photographer/videographer.  If you need to reschedule for any reason, please allow 48 hours notice.  The only last minute cancellations will be on account of weather.  The homes need sunlight drifting into the windows to be shot in their best light.
